The Artists of Minnesota 2024 Spring Conference will be held on May 3, 4 & 5 at the Holiday Inn in Duluth.
It will be in their Lyric Event Center. AOM members are receiving a special room rate; see below for reservation information. All detailed information and registration forms will be coming out in the March Palette News.
Judge and demo artist will be Kelly Schamberger, who is an internationally-awarded and renowned fine artist, oil painter, and art instructor creating primarily in the genres of plein air landscape, portraiture, and still life. Visit her web site at kellyschamberger.com. Rounding out our slate of demo artists will be David Austin and Lin Rose both from Duluth.
Our popular art activity will again be held on Saturday afternoon, and the resulting artwork will be donated to the Encore! Performing Arts Center & Gallery and will be used to raise funds for ongoing needs in the gallery space. The Encore! Gallery is open to artists of all ages and genre, and exhibits are held with each theater production.
Try your luck with the “Pick-Your-Prize” raffle, with prizes awarded right before the Saturday evening banquet. Lots of great prizes will be available!
This year’s conference is being sponsored by the Arrowhead Art Club, and as always, you can look forward to a fun weekend of being inspired by your fellow artists.
